To be honest, magical objects are the best thing that could have happened to this game since its launch. It gives players above level 4 the chance to level up their cards much faster than usual.

What are magical objects?

Magical Objects give you specific cards (Wildcards and Card Books), items to upgrade your cards without spending gold (Magical Coin), and an item to instantly open your Chest (Chest Key).
These items can be found in trophy road rewards, in special offers from the Clash Royale Shop, in some Chests, also in some Special Challenges, and as always, in the Royale Pass.

Magical objects also have an inventory limit, which depends on the player’s King level. At the end of this post, you will find tables with the Inventory Limits.

Types of magical objects

Here I will explain all the types of magical objects and how you should use them.

Wildcards

wildcards
There are 4 categories of Wildcards, the same as the regular cards (Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary).

You can use these Wildcards to acquire any card you need. Keep in mind that these cards can only be used if you have leveled up the card to the maximum possible level. For example, if you have a level 9 card but can level it up to level 11, then, until you level up that card to level 11, you will not be able to use the Wildcards to get that card.

As I mentioned earlier, Wildcards can be obtained from Chests, trophy road, Special Challenges, Shop offers, and the Royale Pass. Each card obtained from a Chest (above Arena 4) has the possibility of turning into a Wildcard of that rarity, consult the following table for percentages.

This means that every time you get, for example, a Legendary from a Chest, this Legendary has a 25% chance of turning into a Wildcard, so you can choose which one you want to use.

King’s Chests and Legendary King’s Chests are guaranteed to give Wildcards. The difference is that you cannot get a Legendary Wildcard from these chests if you have not reached Arena 7 (Royal Arena).

Arena Common Wildcard common wildcard Special Wildcard special Epic Wildcard epic Legendary Wildcard legendary
PEKKA’s Playhouse 5% 25%
Spell Valley
Builder’s Workshop
Royal Arena 7.5% 5%
Frozen Peak
Jungle Arena 10% 7.5%
Hog Mountain
Electro Valley 15% 10%
Spooky Town
Legendary Arena 20% 15%

Card Books

Libro de cartas
Card Books are a new item that works very similar to Wildcards, but instead of giving you a single card, it gives you a certain number of cards of the same rarity as the Book.

The number of cards given by each book varies depending on its rarity. For example, a Common Book gives you 50 Common cards, while an Epic Book gives you 10 Epic cards.

Card Books can be obtained in the same ways as Wildcards, and you can use them to get more than one card at a time.

The way to use them is similar to that of the Wildcards, the card you want to obtain has to be at its maximum level so that you can use the Book to get the card.

Magical Coin

The Magical Coin is a new item that allows you to level up any card for free. This is a great advantage, as it saves you a lot of gold that you can use for other things, like buying cards in the Shop or leveling up other cards.

You can get a Magical Coin from Trophy Road rewards, Shop offers, or from the Royale Pass.

To use the Magical Coin, go to your card collection and choose the card you want to level up. When you click on “Upgrade,” the game will ask you if you want to use the Magical Coin or use your gold.

Keep in mind that you can only use one Magical Coin at a time, and that you have a maximum limit of coins you can have depending on your King level.

Chest Key

Llaves de cofres
The Chest Key is a new item that allows you to instantly open any Chest, without having to wait. This is especially useful for those players who do not have much time to play and want to get the rewards as quickly as possible.

You can get a Chest Key from Trophy Road rewards, Shop offers, or from the Royale Pass.

To use the Chest Key, go to your chest slots and choose the chest you want to open. When you click on “Open,” the game will ask you if you want to use the Chest Key or use your gems.

Keep in mind that you can only use one Chest Key at a time, and that you have a maximum limit of keys you can have depending on your King level.

Inventory Limits

The maximum amount of Magical Objects you can have depends on your King level. Here you can see the limits for each object and King level.

Additional Information

Card Books and Magical Objects Inventory

The Card Books are a type of Magical Object that you can use to get more cards. You can use them in the same way as you use Wildcards, but the difference is that with the Card Books, you can get multiple cards at a time.

Remember that you can get the Card Books from Trophy Road rewards, Shop offers, or from the Royale Pass. You can also get them from Special Challenges or Clan Wars.

Keep in mind that you can only use a Card Book or a Wildcard when the card you want to obtain is at its maximum level. This means that if you have a card that is not at its maximum level, you will not be able to use a Card Book or a Wildcard to get more cards.

The maximum amount of Magical Objects you can have in your inventory depends on your King level. You can see the limits for each object and King level in the table above.
